Yeah, I guess he has fluid in his lung that they are supposed to be draining, but as far as I know, not much progress has been made on that. Umm... He is hooked up to an IV with a tube running through his nose to help him breathe. He is very uncomfortable and I guess the late night nurses take forever to respond. He can't wait to get out of there and go home. I am pretty sure you will hear from him as soon as he is out. I know he misses you all.

Awww, that sucks. My grandma has fluid in her lungs last year and had surgery for it i believe.  Well tell him too get better soon and his penguins are with him and miss him!

Erich is a knight penguin... I feel sorry I got on information so late... but... I guess my prayers were spent to support him from now... I hope it means fast recovery... I do believe... He is needed around... We have huge gap and no one can really take his place... in other words... We surely miss him:)

Here is the latest...
He is telling me that they are transferring him into another hospital (he is hoping for good reception so he can keep texting me) to do surgery on his left lung. They aren't able to remove all the infection and inflammation through draining it.
I have kept him informed on all the things you all are wishing him and telling him.
Lol, he is trying to get me to join the penguins, but I told him I would never make it. I don't waddle enough.
If you want Eric to hear anything specific, just let me know and I will tell him. He is glad that you all haven't forgotten about him.

Well, he went in for his surgery this morning. He was terrfied, he has never had surgery before and was very scared...
I havent heard anything about the surgery yet, as soon as I know, I will update you!
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers!

SURGERY UPDATE!!!
As far as I know, he is doing well, besides being hooked up to oxygen. During the surgery they put in one too many tubes and he woke up screaming and in pain. So they had to go back in and remove it. He is recovering though and he told me to thank you all for what you have said and that he misses his penguins and hopes to be back waddling soon...
Yeah...
Hopefully he will be out next week so he can be back with you all... Surely it won't take the hospital too long to clear him and let him free into the wild again... Right???
We miss Eric and hope he comes back soon.
