Graham Colton in Nashville
« on: September 11, 2008, 01:17:01 AM »
I saw Graham Colton perform at the Exit/In in Nashville Tuesday night.  He was amazing.  I wish he had played an acoustic set though.  His band was almost overpowering.  They took away from Graham's performance a little bit.   I have a new admiration for him after that show.  He is so humble and appreciative.  That is such a rare quality these days especially in the entertainment industry.  He truly loves his craft.  If you get the opportunity to see him perform I would highly recommend it.  His songwriting and storytelling is honest and sincere.  I love that.  The only less that stellar part of the night was when he introduced a song he wrote called "Helen".  I wasn't in love with that song.  It was just o.k.  He wrote this about his new girlfriend, I think.  As Randy Jackson would say, "I wasn't feelin' it, dog."  ha  If you've heard it, I would love to hear other people's thoughts on the song.  Maybe I just didn't like it because it wasn't entitled, "Kelly".  ha Good night ya'll.  And God bless.

i know this is going to sound really weird, but ever since i heard graham perform his song "Helen" i have tried to picture in my mind what she would look like.  I keep visualizing an elderly lady with a hair net.  It seems like he is really in love with her,but it sounds so strange to hear Graham and Helen in the same sentence.  I bet she is really nice though.  I really am not trying to sound mean or anything.  I hope it doesn't come across that way.  I guess I haven't met any Helen's under the age of eighty recently.  I hope they are very happy though.

Are Helen and Graham still together??? Yeah I personally don't love the song, I do love his voice just not the song. I wish Graham would come to Utah!  :smiley15:
