and wow, i didn't know that On Your Side was a response to Can I Have A Kiss...that's cool...i usually find song responses pretty cool. unless they're mean...

i think whether graham and kelly are together or not, he will always love her, whether it's like love love or "you're my friend" love

and, yes, graham is VERY hott. esp. w/ his blue eyes.

Here Right Now was written mostly about past relationships, including with the former tour mate Kelly Clarkson. He wrote a song in contrast to her "Can I Have A Kiss" where she sings "I can't promise forever but I'm working on it." His reaction song is called "On Your Side" and opens with "I'm not asking forever/ And I don't need much of your time/ I know we can't be together/ You should know I'm on your side/ It's where I'll always be." The relationship between the two started during her Breakaway Tour in 2005, following with the Hazel Eyes Tour. The romance lasted for a few months after the shows stopped, and eventually their liaison stopped as well. But through this song he is confessing how he really felt about her. Graham sings "You're just a small town girl/ You didn't care about nothing/ I don't know where to start/ But I hope it ends up where you're being happy wherever you are/ Forever." Sounds like he has hopes to be a good friend in the end and be there for her when she's scared.

I just remembered that Can I Have a Kiss is written about two dif. people...I wonder if Graham knows that...and I'm assuming it must be the chorus that's written about Graham then...I wonder who the other guy is...

the only thing that makes me think graham is not the chorus is cz she says i know why you left and from what i understand she was the one who broke up with him!! i mean that is not 10% truth since obviously i wasnt there!! but who knows!!

OMGoodness! I love that "On Your Side" is a response to "Can I Have A Kiss" cuz i love both of those songs!!!! awww thats sooo cute what he wrote about her!! I knew that "If Love Was Enough" was written about Kelly! Cuz at the beginning he says "You were standing in your dress without your shoes" and on that tour Kelly wore lots of dresses and when she performed she didn't wear shoes! hahaa
